John and Jessica got married outside of Columbia, South Carolina recently. I had the chance to help a friend second-shoot their ceremony. Here are a few of our favorite shots so far:
It has been entirely too long since I have had a chance to shoot much for fun or go mountain biking, for that matter. Here are a few shots of my friend, Aaron, at our local trail.

Shortly after Christmas I came across an old Polaroid One Step. They don’t make Polaroid film anymore, so you can either (a) try to find old expired Polaroid film, which is ridiculously expensive, or (b) get film from The Impossible Project. It is still not cheap – about $24 for 8 shots – but I got some anyway to play around with. I scanned in the results:
I recently purchased a Canon S95 to have something small that I can carry around all the time. It has proven to be a great little camera so far. To test it out a bit, I took a couple of shots on my normal jogging path around Cannon Village and the Research Campus.
Baby Faith is finally here! Justin and Elizabeth have been blessed with a beautiful daughter.

Here are a few of the portraits from this year’s Help Portrait in Concord. Sure, all of the images are great photographs, but that is not what is important. What’s important is the people and the stories behind the portraits, and the chance to give them a gift and make them feel special.
